Sync Problems

A few days ago we started having trouble uploading information to iCloud and so we started having all sorts of trouble syncing Opus Domini.  As of now the sync feature is back on.

Please remember that Opus Domini keeps and works with two different files the “Local” copy and the file stored in the cloud.   Now as you may have been working with iCloud OFF or in the Local file, we would recommend that before you switch the feature back to “ON” you make a backup on each device. 

You can do this simply by opening Opus Domini Mobile’s Preferences menu, then select “General” and proceed to tap over “Manual Backup Now”.   On the Mac, open Opus Domini, then from the menus at the top of the screen select “File” and “Backup Now”

Once the backup is done, you can proceed to switch the sync feature back to ON, preferably on the device you have been working in  - no need to reset or delete the current iCloud file, yet.   Remember that deleting this file will delete all your information so it would be better to leave this file as is, and in case you encounter an error message please contact: support@piso13.com

At this point the new entries should be added to the information stored on the Opus Domini iCloud file.   Once this is done, you can proceed to switch the rest of the devices, one by one. 

FInally please add a test task on each device (Test 1, Test iPad, Test Mac, etc) to double check that the sync is working as it should.
